Randy Lantrip

Randy Lantrip, 67, of Paducah, KY passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center.
 
Born in Madisonville, Kentucky on May 25, 1958, Randy retired as a pipefitter from Arkema and was a former member of Plumbers and Steamfitters Union Local 184. A lifelong NASCAR fan, he especially admired Dale Earnhardt Senior. Known for his outgoing personality and playful sense of humor, Randy loved cutting up and pulling pranks on friends and family. He will be remembered for his big heart and infectious laugh.
 
Randy is survived by one sister, Louise Pool of Murray; two nieces, Melissa Dunn (Mike) of Symsonia and Vicki Crafton (Doug) of Murray); one nephew, Gary Pool (Becky) of Missouri; one sister-in-law, Sandra Lantrip; and very special friends, Larry and Pam Courtney.
 
He was preceded in death by his wife, Fredia Joyce Jones Lantrip; his parents, Thomas Edward and Lillian Geneva Lantrip; and brother, Donnie Lantrip.
 
Services will be held at a later date.
