Rebecca “Becky” Gilbert

Rebecca “Becky” Gilbert, age 65, of Paducah, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at Mercy Health Lourdes.

She was known by those who loved her simply as Becky. She was born on September 16, 1960, to the late Robert and Wanda Gorman Gilbert in Paducah.

Becky devoted much of her professional life to serving others with diligence and care. She worked as an Administrative Secretary for Marty Robins Enterprise, where her reliability, organization, and kind manner made her a valued presence among her colleagues.

In addition to her career, Becky gave of herself through meaningful service in the community. She was involved in running a young women’s home, where she offered guidance, support, and encouragement to those in need. Her compassion and willingness to help others reflected the depth of her character and her desire to make a positive difference in the lives of young women who needed stability and care. This work was a true expression of her heart and her commitment to serving others with kindness.

Becky is survived by a son, Allen Gilbert, and his wife, Brooke, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; three grandchildren, Jackson Allen Gilbert, Matthew Owen Gilbert, and Lynnora Beth Gilbert; and a sister, Cheryl Allen of Paducah.
 
She was preceded in death by a sister, Tonya Bradford, a brother, Bob Gilbert, and her parents.
 
There will be no services.
