Rebecca Marie Boudreaux Melton, beloved mother, sister, and friend, passed away
peacefully on October 10, 2025, in Paducah, Kentucky, surrounded by her loving family. Though her time here feels far too short, her impact on the lives of those who knew her will last forever.
Born on June 8, 1973 in Paducah, Rebecca grew up with an unshakable faith and a
spirit full of energy and determination. From an early age, she had a “never say never” attitude that carried her through every season of life. She was strong in the face of challenge, joyful in the midst of chaos, and always willing to roll up her sleeves and make things happen — no matter what stood in her way.
Faith was the foundation of everything Rebecca did. She approached each day with gratitude and an open heart, finding purpose in helping others and strength in her relationship with God. She was a living example of what it means to trust fully, love deeply, and serve joyfully. Those who knew her will remember the way she prayed with conviction, encouraged with sincerity, and believed that even the hardest days could bring blessings.
Rebecca was known for her fun-loving spirit and contagious laughter that could light up any room. She had a gift for making people feel special — whether through a thoughtful note, a long phone call, or a spontaneous adventure. Her can-do attitude wasn’t just something she said; it was something she lived every day.
Her greatest joy in life was being “Mom” to her two beautiful daughters, Hannah and Ella. She poured her whole heart into raising them, teaching them to be kind, brave, and faithful. Whether cheering them on from the sidelines, planning family traditions, or simply sitting together at the end of a long day, Rebecca’s love for her girls was limitless. They were, without question, her proudest accomplishment and her reason for everything.
Rebecca is also survived by her brothers, Shane (Jennifer) Boudreaux and Kerry (Karen) Boudreaux, who will forever cherish the memories of growing up together and sharing a bond filled with laughter, love, and faith. She also leaves behind nieces and extended family members, and dear friends who loved her like family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ron and Linda Boudreaux, and her nephew, Tyler Boudreaux. Though they are gone from this world, their reunion in Heaven brings comfort to those who loved her so dearly.
A celebration of Rebecca’s life will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Homes with Pastor Trad York officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until the 1:00 pm service time of Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Homes.
