Rita Paulette McGill, 82, of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away peacefully at her home on October 30, 2026.
Paulette was born March 30, 1944, the eldest of five children, to Prentice and Estelle Curlin of Clinton, Ky. After moving to St. Louis after high school, she met and married her husband Marshall "Pat" McGill on June 3, 1967.
She is survived by her husband of fifty-nine years, Marshall; her two children, Andra and Scott of St. Louis; sisters Pauline (late Lawrence Smithmier), Stella (late Neil Mathis), both of Clinton, Kentucky, Debra (Damon Cates) of Cunningham, Kentucky, and her brother Roger (Coretta) Curlin of Milburn.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Prentice and Estelle Curlin, two nephews, James Neil Mathis and Eric Choate, and great-nieces, Eden and Carley Dew.
A private ceremony for the family will take place at a later date.
