Robert “Bobby” Edward Lee, 76, of Cunningham, Kentucky, went to be with his Lord and Savior on July 18, 2025, at 9:30 AM at Baptist Health Hospital in Paducah, Kentucky.
Bobby was born on July 3, 1949, to Cecil Harold and Johnie Pearl Lee in Blandville, Kentucky. He was one of nine children.
Bobby married the love of his life, Linda Evelyn Davis, at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Cunningham, Kentucky, on November 14th, 1969. The couple went on to have four children, nine grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Over the years, Bobby was a Deacon and Sunday School teacher at Bethlehem Baptist Church. He also coached Little League baseball in Bardwell. He was also a retired union worker from General Tire, where he worked until the day the plant closed its doors in 2004. Other than spending time with his family, Bobby also enjoyed watching the Kentucky Wildcats play Basketball and Football, playing Rook with his buddies, and swapping stories with friends while eating breakfast at the local diner.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Linda; his sons, Michael (Misty) and Jeremy (Meghan) of Paducah; his daughter, Sarah Beth of Cunningham; his brothers, Wilford of Blandville and David of Mayfield; his sisters, Vicki Colson of Barlow, and Angie Lee of Blandville; eleven grandchildren, Andrew, Jonathan, Ethan, Eli, EJ, Brandon, Chad, Matthew, Allyson, Jackson, and Madalyn; one great grandchild, Rayleigh.
Bobby was predeceased by both his parents; his oldest son, David Brent (Terris); his brother Dickie; and three sisters, Faye, Eddie Joyce, and Barbara Sue.
He was blessed by many other family members, some who preceded him in death and others who are still with us, including nieces, nephews, and cousins, all of whom loved him dearly. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Funeral services will be held at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Cunningham on Tuesday, July 22 at 12 P.M. with Pastor Tim Harvey officiating. A visitation will be held earlier that morning at 10 A.M. at the church. Burial will take place at Bethlehem Cemetery in Cunningham, KY.
