Robert Jaycen Meyer

Robert Jaycen Meyer, 57, of Paducah, Kentucky, known to most as Jaycen, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 14, 2026, at Vanderbilt University Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. He was born on August 19, 1969, in Paducah, Kentucky.
 
Jaycen was a one-of-a-kind person who lived life in his own unique way. He was a man of many characters, with a personality and sense of humor that made him memorable to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Whether he was telling a story, making someone laugh, sharing a good time with friends, or simply lending a helping hand, Jaycen had a way of leaving an impression. He had a true love for the outdoors and adventure. Some of his favorite things included riding motorcycles, fishing, turkey hunting, kayaking, and skeet shooting. He enjoyed being out on the water, spending time outdoors, and experiencing the freedom that came with riding his motorcycle. These were more than hobbies to Jaycen—they were opportunities to make memories, spend time with friends, and enjoy the life he loved.
 
Jaycen was also deeply involved with the Cycle Knights motorcycle club, an organization that meant a great deal to him. He served as both secretary and chaplain, giving his time and energy to support the club and its members. He especially enjoyed helping with fundraisers and using his time to help others. Jaycen never hesitated to step up when someone needed a hand, and he was always willing to do whatever he could to help a friend, a stranger, or someone in need.
 
Those who knew Jaycen will remember his generosity and his willingness to be there for others. He had a big heart and believed in helping people whenever he had the opportunity. His kindness could be found in both the big things he did and the simple acts of helping someone along the way. Even in death, Jaycen continued his lifelong tradition of helping others. He was an organ donor, and through his generous gift, he was able to help four people receive the gift of life. His kindness and generosity will continue to live on through those he helped.
 
Jaycen is survived by two sons, Joshua (Chelsey) Meyer of Hickory, Kentucky, and Cody (Emily) Meyer of Wickliffe, Kentucky; his parents, Frederick Dale Meyer and Bonnie Marie Timmons Meyer of Kevil, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Lilly Meyer, Rhett Meyer, Lane Meyer, Olivia Meyer, and Jackson Meyer; a sister, Jill (Matt) Fletcher of Gilbertsville, Kentucky; two nieces, Abigail (Conner) Murt, Emma (Will) Duncan; a nephew, Brady Fletcher; his girlfriend, Loretta Lumbley of Paducah, Kentucky; and his dog, also known as his little girl, Sophie.
 
He was preceded in death by his wife, Julia Meyer, and his grandparents, Frederick and Mary Meyer, and Robert Earl and Roberta Timmons.
 
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah, with Bro. Dennis Lawrence officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
 
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday, September 21, 2026, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah.
