Roger Gail Mallory

Roger Gail Mallory, 80, of West Paducah, Kentucky, passed away at his residence at 7:02 a.m. on Wednesday, July 22, 2026.

Roger was born on April 23, 1946, in Penrod, Kentucky, to the late Roy Mallory and Mabel Walker Mallory.

Roger proudly served his country in the United States Army and was honorably discharged. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Project Management and went on to have a successful career as a chemist with the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), where he later retired.

In his free time, Roger enjoyed woodworking, spending time outdoors, mowing his yard, and listening to records. He found joy in life’s simple pleasures and treasured the time spent with his family.

Roger is survived by his two sons, Christopher Sean Mallory of West Paducah, Kentucky, and Bradford Heath (Julie) Mallory of Colorado Springs, Colorado; one daughter, Lori Whitney (Thomas) Summers of West Paducah, Kentucky; and four grandchildren, Connor Mallory, Collin Mallory, Kaelin Mallory, and Trace Summers.

In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 57 years, Joan Elaine Mallory; two sisters, Audrey Fleming and Mildred McPherson; one brother, William Roy “W.R.” Mallory; and daughter-in-law, Dawn Mallory.
