Benny Rohn Fithen, known affectionately to friends and family as Ronny, passed away on August 22, 2025, at Baptist Health in Paducah, Kentucky.
Born on November 8, 1955, in the heart of Michigan, Ronny's early years were filled with the kind of warmth and spirit he would carry with him throughout his life.
A man whose faith was as steadfast as his love for the iconic figures of John Wayne, Dolly Parton, and Santa Claus, Ronny's reverence for Jesus shone brightly in every interaction and encounter. He was a living testament to his beliefs, being a friend to all, and his unyielding kindness became his hallmark. Ronny was truly a man who never met a stranger, treating every person he encountered with an unmatched level of genuine interest and care.
Ronny is survived by three sisters, LaDon Burton of Mayfield, Kentucky, Bobbie Puckett (Adrian Hernandez) of Cunningham, Kentucky, and Kay (Wayne) Helm of Metropolis, Illinois; a brother, Danny Fithen of Kevil, Kentucky; a niece, Christa Owen; five nephews, Curtis (Candy) Turner, Benjamin (Amy) Fithen, Dewayne Burton, Cody Woodwurth, and Shannon Dobson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Benny Fithen and Ann Watson Spencer; a brother, Kerry Burton; a niece, Schantelle Dobson and a nephew, Wade Turner.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Wickliffe with Bro. Dee Hazelwood officiating. Burial will follow at Old Bardwell Cemetery in Bardwell, Kentucky.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until the service hour of 3:00 PM on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Wickliffe.
