Ruth E. Kendall

Ruth Sieverkropp Kendall, age 91, passed peacefully on Sunday, January 25, 2026 at Mills Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Born in Puyallup, Washington, she lived as a devoted housewife and cherished member of Saint Paul Lutheran Church, teaching Sunday school and leading kids in Christmas caroling. Her children meant everything to her-she adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ruth treasured memories of her father, brothers, and growing up in Washington, embracing a life of hard work. Private, caring, and firm, she’ll be deeply missed.

Ruth is survived by four children, Sondra Page (Brad) of Fancy Farm, Sheila May (Wendell) of Fancy Farm, Melvin Kendall (Jeanna) of Paducah and Phillip Kendall (Stephanie) of LaCenter; one brother, Raymond Sieverkropp (Doris) of Ephrada, Washington; nine grandchildren, Eric Page (Kim), Chase Page (Lindsey), Anthony May (Elizabeth), Amber Quarles (Ja'Derris), Trevor Kendall (Gracie Cargac), Macy Kendall (James Easley), Candice Holder (Steven), Rachel Moore (Clint), and Lauren Dunker (Tyler); and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Henry Kendall; her parents, Herman and Millie Sieverkropp; one son, James Kendall; and four brothers, Wayne Sieverkropp, Eldred Sieverkropp, Robert Sieverkropp, and Donald Sieverkropp.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, January 29, 2026 with Pastor David Appold officiating. Burial will follow at Liberty Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until the 1:00 pm service time on Thursday, January 29, 2026 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Homes.
