Ruth "Ruthie" Webb, aged 82, passed away serenely on January 12, 2026, in LaCenter, Kentucky. Born to the late Joseph William Elliott and Adelle McCown Elliott on January 31, 1943, in Greenville, Kentucky, Ruthie cultivated a life filled with love, passion, and generosity that touched everyone she met.
Ruthie was a beacon of comfort and joy in her community, widely known for her loving and nurturing nature. Her journey through life was shared with her beloved husband, the late Carl Dean Webb, who preceded her in death, along with her brother, Joseph Michael Elliott. Ruthie cultivated a nurturing home environment bursting with warmth and kindness, marking her as a pillar in her family and community.
The proud mother of two daughters, Ruthie's legacy lives on through Robin Wolford and her husband Jim, of Newburgh, Indiana, and Lori Butler alongside her husband, Dr. Danny Butler of Paducah, Kentucky. She was the cherished sister of William "Terry" Elliott and his wife, Loretta, of Russellville, Kentucky. Ruthie's spirit will continue to be celebrated by her adoring six grandchildren: Alexandra VanWinkle and husband Jeremy, Cameron Wolford, Miles Butler, Reese Butler and wife Kirsten, Lance Butler and wife Emily, and Raven Butler. Her great-granddaughter, Scout VanWinkle, will also carry forward the loving memories of her great-grandmother's tender affection and support.
An active member of the Lone Oak Church of Christ, Ruthie's faith was a cornerstone of her life, providing her with strength and community engagement. Known for her delectable cooking and spotless home, she took great pride in providing comfort and sustenance to those around her. Ruthie's passions went beyond the kitchen and cleanliness; she found her greatest joy in her grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Mr. Paul Wingfield and Mr. Jamey Boone officiating. Entombment will follow at Brook Hill Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, January 16, 2026, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah, and after 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
