It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce the passing of Starlyn Jo Tabers Wyatt, who went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at the age of 68.

Born in Murray, Kentucky, on September 25, 1957, Starlyn lived a life deeply rooted in the things that brought her joy, but nothing compared to the fierce love she had for her family. She was the cornerstone of her home, always putting the needs of her children, grandchildren, and husband above her own. In recent months, those closest to Starlyn witnessed an inspiring chapter in her life as her relationship with God began to grow and deepen. She turned her heart toward Him, finding a profound sense of solace, reassurance, and quiet strength in daily prayer. This blossoming of her faith brought her an immense inner peace that comforted both her and everyone around her.

Beyond her family and her deepening faith, Starlyn had a few true passions that defined her daily life, she loved her beloved yorkies. If you knew Starlyn, you knew her pampered Yorkies. They were her constant shadows and brought her endless amusement and companionship. She was a die-hard UK Wildcats fan, Starlyn rarely missed a game. During basketball season, you could find her dressed in her favorite Kentucky blue while group chatting with her entire family. Her kitchen was the heart of the home. Whether she was whipping up a massive holiday feast or trying out a new recipe, she expressed her love through food, and no one ever left her house hungry. Her happy place was always by the ocean. She cherished every moment spent with her toes in the sand, listening to the waves, and soaking in the sun.

She is survived by her beloved husband, David Wyatt of Paducah, Kentucky; three sons, Zachary (Jessica) Wyatt of Bradenton, Florida, Benjamin (Ashley) Wyatt of Mayfield, Kentucky, and Jacob Wyatt of Paducah, Kentucky; six grandchildren, Maverick, Madelyn, Maddox, Weston, Cason, and Hudson; her brother, Michael Tabers (Michael Rook); and her mother, Marilyn Usrey Tabers.

She was preceded in death by her father, Earl Ray Tabers.
