Terrie Lynn Westerman passed away on August 20, 2025, at the age of 57 years. Born on May 28, 1968, in Humboldt, Tennessee, her vibrant spirit and joyful presence touched the lives of those around her, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and creativity that will be cherished by all who knew her.
A dedicated mother, Terrie filled her home with love, kindness, and an undeniable sense of comfort. She attended the Free Spirit Bikers Church, where her infectious laughter and genuine nature made her a beloved friend and confidant to many.
Terrie met the love of her life, Barry Shelby, 24 years ago and the pair have been together ever since. Terrie and Barry shared the same adventurous spirit, often attending concerts, traveling to comic con, and riding Barry’s motorcycle as often as possible. They brought joy to each other and shared the same sense of humor.
Terrie had a passion for the written word, which was evident in her love for writing poetry and short stories. Her works, brimming with emotion and insight, were a source of inspiration to those who read her thought-provoking words. The worlds she created shared her deepest thoughts and musings with the world, and her literary voice remains a gift to all who had the pleasure of reading her writing.
Moreover, Terrie's artistic side flourished in her love for cake decorating and jewelry making. She was truly crafty, with delicate hands that could turn simple materials into spectacular pieces of art. Her handmade jewelry pieces were reflections of her creative soul.
Terrie is survived by her Mother Geraldine Westerman; her spouse, Barry Shelby; her daughter, Courtney White and Son in Law David White of Fulton, Kentucky; her sister, Tammy Jo Watson of Portland, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Rosalie Mae White and Levi Cole White; and two nephews, Benjamin and Andrew.
She was preceded in death by her Father, Rayborn Westerman.
A memorial service will be held at 1 P.M. on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at Bridge of Hope, 1575 Hwy 641 South, Paris, Tennessee. Visitation will be held from 11 A.M. until 1 P.M. with a short service and meal to follow.
