Terry Lynn Orr, of Gilbertsville, Kentucky, who was known affectionately as "T. O." to his friends and colleagues, passed away on Friday, August 1, 2025, at the age of 69. T.O. was born on Monday, September 12, 1955, in Paducah, Kentucky, to Edward and Dorothy (Blackwell) Orr.
 
He was a retired pipefitter, working out of the Plumbers & Steamfitters Local 184 in Paducah. With his skilled hands and a keen mind, he quickly became respected in his field, known for his reliability and craftsmanship. His work was not just a job but a calling, where he found both purpose and camaraderie among his peers.
 
Beyond his professional life, T.O. was deeply involved with the Masonic community. Having been a Past Master Mason and Inspector Inquisitor for Lodge 567, he embodied the fraternity's values of brotherly love, relief, and truth. His commitment to this ancient and honorable institution strengthened bonds with fellow members and left a lasting impact on the organization.
 
An avid Harley-Davidson motorcycle enthusiast, T.O. found freedom on the open road. His adventures on his beloved Harley were sources of endless stories and memories that he cherished.
 
Though his journey on this earth has ended, he will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and remembered.
 
Mr. Orr is survived by his sons, Brian E. Orr of Covington, Tennessee, and Daniel T. Orr of Murray, Kentucky; his step-daughter, Marianne Purcell of Jackson, Tennessee; his step-son, Randy Purcell (Tracy) of Maryville, Tennessee; his mother, Dorothy Jean Glisson Blackwell; his grandson, Austin (Abby) Orr; his great grandchildren, Abilene and Anderson Orr; his sisters, Stephanie Kendall (Phillip) of LeCenter, Kentucky and Sandra Fleming (Daniel) of Kevil, Kentucky; his brother, William Edward Orr (Joyce) of Florence, Kentucky.
 
Mr. Orr was preceded in death by his father, Edward Bert Orr, and his brother, Phillip Dean Orr.
 
A memorial service with Masonic Funeral Rites is scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Thursday, August 14, 2025, at Milner & Orr Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Paducah.
 
A private family urn burial will take place at a later date at Maplelawn Park Cemetery.
