Theresa was born in Clinton, Kentucky, on September 24, 1951 to the late Billy Joe and Oradell Tucker.  She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Lexington.  Theresa graduated from Murray State University in 1973, where she received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing.  Shortly after graduation, Theresa and her husband moved to the Lexington area where she began her 48-year career as a Registered Nurse.  She had a heart for helping others, and enjoyed working at many hospitals and offices through the Lexington Area. Outside of work, Theresa could often be found cooking.  It was a passion she excelled at and loved to try new and exotic recipes for friends and family to enjoy.  Theresa also enjoyed traveling. Whether it be Caribbean cruises or the sandy beaches of Florida, Theresa loved to explore new, tropical places with family and friends.

Theresa not only loved caring for her patients and family, but also animals.  She loved cats and dogs, and often pet sat for friends and neighbors.
