Tommy Joe Osteen Sr., 78, of Clinton, Kentucky, passed away at Clinton Hickman County ICF on Saturday, August 9, 2025. Tommy was born on March 13, 1947, to the late Riley Osteen and Dorothy Warren. He was of the Baptist Faith.

Tommy spent his life on the open road as a dedicated truck driver. Outside of work, he was an avid fisherman and spent most of his time by the water. Tommy's love for the great outdoors extended to drag racing and rabbit hunting, things that gave him tremendous joy and excitement. Above all, Tommy was a man of the people. He loved to talk with anyone, whether they were friends or strangers. Tommy’s ability to make friends everywhere led to a lifelong friendship with the Amish community, and he loved to help them whenever possible.

Tommy is survived by his first wife, Sherry Osteen; two daughters, Kelly (Marc) Waggoner, of Mayfield, Kentucky, and Kimberly Dawn Goetz, of Mayfield, Kentucky; one son, Tommy (Melanie) Osteen Jr., of Clinton, Kentucky; one brother, John Jeffrey Warren, of Mayfield, Kentucky; one aunt, Doris Moss, of McConnell, Tennessee; six grandchildren, Kendall Osteen, Cameron Bean Wilson, Zachery Goetz, Ivy Osteen, Taylor Osteen West, and Avery Elizabeth Anderson; and two great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by two sisters, Donna Kay Reed and Tina Lynn Warren, and his parents.

Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at Springhill Cemetery in Clinton, Kentucky, with Bro. David Dixon officiating.
