Tony Leshon, age 91, passed away Thursday, July 16, 2026, at Centennial Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. Tony was born in Nitro, West Virginia, on April 29, 1935, to Joseph Leshon and Sylvia Marie Hively Leshon. Tony retired as Vice-President of Marketing, Alternate Health of Blue Cross Insurance Company.
An active member of Lone Oak First Baptist Church and The Lighthouse Sunday School Class, Tony was a fisher of men who used every opportunity to share the Gospel and offer his powerful personal testimony to friends, neighbors, and strangers alike. He was a faithful servant and trusted anchor for many, known for offering wise counsel rooted in scripture and a life lived for Christ.
He was a man of quiet strength and endless joy. Those who had the privilege of knowing him will forever remember his warm, welcoming smile-the kind that could instantly brighten any room and put everyone at ease.
He approached both life and his many passions with incredible patience and precision. Whether he was teeing off for a round of golf with his buddies, meticulously fixing clocks, or spending quality time with his family, Tony found purpose and beauty in the details.
Above all else, Tony was a devoted husband, a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. His legacy of love, kindness, patience, and steadfast faith will continue to live on in the hearts of his loved ones.
Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Loetta Leshon; one daughter, Tonya Keeling (Danny) of Paducah, Kentucky; one son, Craig Leshon (Angela) of Louisville, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Lorrie Kenney (Nick), Andy Keeling (Nikki), Kyle Leshon (Kristin), and Connor Leshon (Caitlin); ten great-grandchildren, Michaela, Elise, Maia, Gianna, Heidi, RyleeJo, Rose, Joshua, Gabriel, and Anthony Joseph “AJ”.
Services will be held Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at 12:30 p.m. at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home with Revs. Bob Martin and Jamie Coomer officiating. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until the service time of 12:30 p.m.
