Walker Cole Womack

Walker Cole Womack, age 23 months, passed away at 5:34 p.m. Thursday, August 8, 2024, at Norton’s Children’s Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.

Walker Cole was born on August 30, 2022, to Christopher Cole Womack and Vivian Dean (Wendel) Womack.  He fought a courageous battle with Hypoplastic Left heart Syndrome during his 23 months.  He loved watching trolls while he was bouncing in his chair.  Walker Cole had a great love for his blankets, especially the tags on them.  He left a big impact on many people during his 23 months of life and will be fondly remembered.
 
Survivors include his parents. Christopher Cole Womack and Vivian Dean Womack; one brother, Nixon Cowsert; grandparents. Bryan Womack and LaCretia Womack; grandmother, LaNora Wendel; grandfathers, Jeff Wendel and Keith Lumpkin; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
 
Preceding in death was his twin brother.
 
Visitation will be held Saturday, August 17, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. until service time of 2:00 p.m. at the Lone Oak Chapel Milner & Orr Funeral Home.
 
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 17, 2024, at the Lone Oak Chapel Milner & Orr with Dr. Scott Thomas officiating.   A private family burial will follow at the Womack Farm.
