Wanda Mullinax Williams

Wanda Mullinax Williams 96, of Lexington, KY, formerly of Paducah, KY passed away December 9, 2023 at The Willows of Hamburg Senior Living in Lexington, KY.

Wanda was the widow of Charles Mullinax and Leon Williams. She was also predeceased by her parents Lothilla and Harry Holt and her older sister Lala Holt Reed.

She is survived by her two daughters, Dinah Mullinax High (Paul) Louisville & Teresa Mullinax Foxx (Dr. Jeff) of Lexington; three grandchildren, Sabrina Parks Bent (Dr. Russ) of Los Alamos NM, Dr. Amanda Foxx (Twyman Clements) of Lexington & Alexander Foxx (Leah) of Cincinnati, OH; three great-grandchildren, Zoe Bent, Gavin Bent & Samuel Clements; one sister, June Kelly of Paducah; a niece, Tina Crews and her son Steve Crews of Atlanta.

Also, her beloved Williams family, she was predeceased by Tony Williams and is survived by Patti (Don) Sanders, Mike (Mary) Williams and Nancy Williams Knott. She is also survived by her brother-in-law & sister-in-law, Vivian and John Williams Sr. of Paducah.

She graduated from Paducah Tilghman High School in 1945 and Paducah Jr. College in 1947.

Wanda was a member of the Lone Oak Church of Christ for many years. She was a championship golfer and won the city tournament 2 times. She served on the Paducah golf commission for many years and was the first woman to do so.

She played many happy rounds of golf in Paducah as well as in her golf travels. She was a Duchess of Paducah and a Kentucky Colonel. Wanda loved her home and family and was a wonderful mother and grandmother.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Homes with Jamey Boone officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Paducah.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Homes.
