Wilma Dean Culp, 73, of Calvert City, passed away on November 21, 2025, at Baptist Health.

Born January 15, 1952, she devoted her life to caring for others both at home and in her career as a registered nurse at Western Baptist Hospital. Known for her compassion, skill, and dedication, she touched countless lives and earned the respect and gratitude of her colleagues and patients. Nursing was not just her profession—it was her calling, and she approached every patient with kindness and a desire to heal.

Her faith was the cornerstone of her life. As a devoted member of Oaklawn Baptist Church, Wilma was a constant presence in worship and fellowship. She gave generously of her time and talents, supporting church activities and encouraging her fellow members. Her love for her church family reflected her deep devotion to Christ, and her faith guided her every step.

At home, Wilma’s greatest joy was her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, showering her loved ones with affection and encouragement. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the pride of her heart, and she took great delight in being their Nana. Her home was a place of warmth, laughter, and unconditional love.  Wilma also expressed her care through her crochet work, creating keepsakes that remain treasured reminders of her patience, artistry, and love. Each stitch was a reflection of her devotion, and her family and friends will continue to cherish these handmade gifts.

Her life was marked by selflessness, as she always put others first and found joy in caring for her family. She leaves behind a legacy of love, service, and devotion. Though her passing leaves a deep void, her memory will continue to inspire those who knew and loved her.
