Chinh Thi Hamilton

Kevil, KY Chinh Thi Hamilton, age 75 passed away on Monday, December 26, 2025, at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, KY.  She was born September 18, 1950, in Viet Nam to her late parents, Chan and Cua Lee Bien.

She was a believer and loved to read her translated Vietnamese Bible.  Chinh worked in the family logging business for many years. She also was employed for many years and retired from Credence Speakers. Chinh enjoyed being at home and being with her family. In 1972, she moved halfway around the world to spend the last 53 years of her life with her husband, Robert. They met while he was serving in the Navy in Viet Nam.  She spent her final evening having Christmas with her family. They had a huge meal, opened presents, and enjoyed watching old home movies. The last thing she did on this earth was exactly what she would have wanted food and family.  Chinh was beautiful soul who loved and cherished her family. 

Chinh is survived by her husband of 53 years, Robert Hamilton of Kevil KY, three sons, Bobby Hamilton (Holly) of Mayfield KY, Larry Hamilton (Angie) of Barlow, KY and Frank Hamilton (Lindsey) of LaCenter, KY.  Two living sisters in Viet Nam. Four grandchildren, John Hamilton, Abigail Hamilton, Brooklyn Hamilton and Annie Hamilton.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, five sisters and her parents.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 29, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until funeral time at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY.

Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 29, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY with Rev. Brian Overstreet officiating.

Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery.
