Bandana, KY Connie Ann Bramlett, age 65, passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, KY. She was surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 27, 1960, in Paducah, KY.

One obituary cannot possibly contain her life's story. One eulogy cannot possibly honor her life and love. One lifetime cannot possibly repay her kindness and sacrifices. Only one eternity will do to give thanks to the Lord God and his Son Jesus for the gracious gift of Connie Ann Bramlett.

Connie overflowed with need-meeting compassion for anyone who was down in their luck. In addition to raising her daughter, son and granddaughter her home, she always opened her home to family members who needed a place to belong. She also spent much of her life caring for those at the end of their lives- whether they were nursing home residents or senior citizens who needed meals and the blessing of her presence. She never sought recognition or applause, but the Lord took note of every burden she lightened, every plate she served, and every expression of hospitality she offered.

Connie never turned away anyone who needed her, including animals who needed a loving home. The Bramlett home was a sanctuary where stray cats and abandoned dogs were treated like family. She cared for many four-legged creatures in her lifetime and also saw the Lords's handiwork in all of creation. She loved to be outside, enjoying the simple satisfaction of the sunshine on her face and the serenity of tending to flowers and plants. Her home is, to this day, surrounded by flowerbeds and greenery-all of which she planted and tended to, day after day.

Connie's personality was tenderly disarming. You could be your true self around her and talk to her about anything in the world. She was also very quick-witted and always had a playful jab in her pocket-poking fun at someone's mannerisms, haircut or outfit. She didn't have to work hard to make you laugh.

Most importantly, Connie was a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ. She placed her soul in the nail-scarred hands and trusted completely in Christ and His finished work for her salvation. She could not occupy a church pew as often as some, but her faith in Christ was just as genuine. She loved gospel-saturated hymns and especially Bluegrass gospel music. But perhaps her greatest spiritual legacy was introducing her son to Jesus Christ by taking him to church and nurturing him in the faith once he trusted in Christ.

She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Greg Bramlett of Bandana, KY, a son, Brandon Bramlett and his wife Dakota of Bandana, KY, a daughter Ashley (Alexander) McClure and her husband, Chris of Fulgham, KY; a granddaughter, Lexi Toon and her husband Zach of Cunningham, KY and unborn grandson, Oliver Bramlett. A sister Cozette Owens of Sharon, TN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer Franklin and Ruth (Barnhill) Crabtree, a sister Nancy Goode and several brothers.
