Deborah Dulworth, age 73, passed away at Jewish Barnes hospital in St. Louis, MO on January 7, 2025. She was born February 9, 1952, in Union City, TN to her late parents, Knox Edward and Lola (Wilson) Quinton.
Debby is survived by her husband of 48 years, Toby Dulworth of LaCenter, KY; a son, Quinton Dulworth (Rebecca Sulins) of Nashville, TN, a daughter, Rachel Balluff (Stephen) of Barlow, KY; a brother, Charles Quinton of New Orleans, LA; four grandchildren, Michael River Woolen, Cyrus Reed Woolen, Sullivan Alice Dulworth, and
Quinton Taylor Dulworth.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Dennis Alen Quinton and her parents.
Debby will be remembered for her kindness, her intelligence, and her compassion. She stood for her principles, and how she loved. Debby was an accomplished artist and writer, a lover of nature and animals, and a steward of the land. She devoted her life fully to her family; her husband of 48 years Toby, her two children, Quinton and Rachel, as well as her four grandchildren. She spent years sharing her kindness and wisdom with other children in Ballard County. She was a partner in creating a preschool called Sunshine School in the 1980's in LaCenter. As her children grew older, she founded the After School Kids (ASK) program to help families get affordable childcare for their children. Later in life, she devoted her energy to regenerative farming and helping run the family farm. she was passionate about leaving the land better than she found it. Debby left and impact on the cattle farm community hosting field days, writing articles, and speaking events. She leaves behind a legacy of caring and love that will leave a hole in her family's hearts. She was a member of LaCenter Christian Church.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, after 12:00 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY with Rev. Chris Cooper officiating. Interment will follow at Abe Herring Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be sent to American Heart Association or LaCenter Christian Church building fund.
