Bandana, KY Nellie Sue Brazell, age 87, passed away Friday, April 5, 2024, at Life Care Center of LaCenter, KY. She was born to her late parents, Clyde Monroe and Mamie Madeline (Phillips) Ware on May 2,1936 in Bruceton, TN.

Her greatest pleasure in life was spending time with her family and friends. She had a heart of gold and shared her love with everyone she knew. She had a love of being outdoors whether working in a garden or her flower bed. She enjoyed telling stories of old with her family, her memory was sharp as a tack. Her children loved and cherished her deeply and always knew just how much they were loved by her.

Her grandchildren and great grandchildren know her affectionately by Nanny Sue or Nanu. Her whole world brightened when they would walk into a room. She was a seamstress by trade and was known for her amazing talents from making wedding dresses to alterations.

She was a member of Bandana Baptist Church. Her church and church family were a vital part of her life. She loved her Lord and Savior with all she had. Nellie Sue Brazell will be profoundly missed, but her spirit will continue to guide and inspire all who were blessed to know her.

She is survived by, three daughters, Malissia Abell (Phil) of LaCenter, KY, Cindi Egner (Marvin) of Bandana, KY, and Michelle Giles (Ronnie) of Barlow, KY; eight grandchildren, Alan Parrott, Justin Parrott, Michael Wigginton (Sondra), Robbie Wigginton (Marty), Maranda Brown (Josh), Sarah Burgess (Daniel), Ronnie Giles III (Paige) and Jordyn Abell (Anna); fourteen great grandchildren; Austin, Brady, Natalia, Madelynne, Kendall, Lillian, Karlee, Lyssia, Ally, Maddox, Craig, Luke, Cook, and Hank. Three stepsons, Michael Brazell (Laura), John Brazell, David Brazell (Linda); two step daughters, Sue Ellen Brazell and Malinda Utley (Tony); four step grandchildren, Laurena, Jonathan, Joseph, and Andrew (Destiny) and two step great grandchildren.

Sue was preceded in death by a son, Marty Allen; her first husband, William Arzell Allen; her second husband Gene Brazell; two brothers; a sister and her parents.

Visitation will be held Monday, April 8, 2024 from 6-8 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday April 9, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel with Rev. Brandon Bramlett.

Interment will follow at Hollow Rock Church Cemetery in Bruceton, TN.
