LaCenter, KY – Norma Jean Taylor, 84, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, at Life Care Center in LaCenter. She was born May 31, 1941, in Livingston County to the late Herman Lee and Inez (Dristall) Hill.
A member of First Baptist Church of LaCenter, Jean worked as a CNA at Life Care Center in her younger years. She loved being at home, caring for her family, and was a wonderful cook who delighted in preparing meals for them. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed fishing and shopping.
Jean is survived by her daughter, Teresa Gail Draper (Kevin) of LaCenter, KY; five grandchildren, Jason Taylor (Sandy), Kyle McKean (Chelsea), Hannah Draper, Carrie Taylor, and Lisa Taylor; several great-grandchildren; a sister, Ann Guill (Ronnie) of Carrsville, KY.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Bobby Lee Taylor; her son, Robert Lynn Taylor; her sister, Lois Owen; three brothers, Euden Hill, Ewing Hill, and Bill Hill; and her parents.
Graveside services will be held Monday, May 18, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at LaCenter Cemetery with Brother Joey Donelson officiating.
