Kevil, KY Westen Lane Andrews 8, went home to be with Jesus in heaven on May 15, 2026 after a 3 1/2 year battle with cancer at St Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis Tennessee.
He was loved and cared for by his “Gammie” and Daddy and Mommy and brothers and Uncles. Westen will always be the sweetest child that loved with all his heart. He is an exceptionally talented artist and loves to play Roblox and Minecraft. How to train your dragon with the night fury was his absolute favorite and he was riding his “toothless” dragon on the way to Heaven with Jesus by his side.
Loved by his Ballard Co community and school he will be truly missed by all. He is and always will be the strong resilient child we fell in love with. “We are all travelers in this world. From the sweet grass to the packing house, birth ‘til death. We travel between the eternities “. We loved him for a short time and he suffers no more. Praise God In Jesus name.

Westen is survived by his parents, Wesley Lane Andrews and Kaneesha Willie; grandmother, Kimberly Renee Andrews of Kevil, KY; maternal grandparents, Jeaneete Hill and Donell Harris; two brothers, Wylder Andrews and Waylon Andrews.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Ronald G. Andrews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, after 11:00 a.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel in LaCenter, KY.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Morrow Funeral Chapel with Brother Letoun Bledsoe officiating.
Interment will follow at LaCenter Cemetery.
