Amari Tyler Rochelle

Amari Tyler Rochelle, infant son of Rahim Shabazz and Shannon Rochelle, went home to rest with the angels on Friday, April 17, 2026, at Mercy Health Lourdes Hospital in Paducah.

Although he lived for only a year, Amari brought great joy and tremendous pleasure to his family, especially his big sister, ShyAnn. His two favorite things were spending time with his sister and watching Bluey.

Left behind to cherish precious memories of Amari are his Father, Rahim Shabazz; his Mother, Shannon Rochelle; Five Sisters, Shy Ann Faust, Demi Rochelle, Jena Copeland, Eiliyah Shabazz, all of Paducah, Kentucky, and Dontashia Holland of North Carolina; Three Brothers, Evan Trapp, King Rochell and Tevin Mack, all of Paducah, Kentucky; his Maternal Grandmother, La’Tonya Rochelle of California; his Maternal Grandfather, Wendell Rochelle of Louisiana; and his Paternal Grandparents, Fannie Sains, Merlene Kelly and Marilyn Sains-Jackson, all of Paducah; along with a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.

Waiting to greet him in heaven were his maternal great-grandparents, Elmer “Pig” and Cynthia Ann Stubblefield along with his paternal great-grandparents, Harlan and Graylon Kelly.

Amari’s sweet spirit and calm demeanor will be greatly missed by family and friends.
