Bessie Elaine Webb Taylor, 70, of Paducah, KY, died on November 19, 2025 after a brief hospitalization at Mercy Hospital in Fairfield, OH. Bessie was the beloved daughter of the late Robert and Audrey Webb. She was a 1973 graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School.
Bessie’s career started as an Executive Secretary, working for the U.S. Department of Defense at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. She continued to work as a high-level Executive Assistant for many years until starting her own business in Appleton, WI and eventually retiring. She relocated to Cincinnati in 2025.
Surviving are her children, Darrell Taylor of Cincinnati and Hannah Taylor, of Antigua Guatemala; two grandchildren, Dorian Taylor of Hartland, WI and Aliviya Edwards Taylor of Appleton, WI; five siblings: Margaret Artison, Dora Banks, Joyce Shaw, Sherri Slade, Jerri Jones and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home with Pastor Raynarldo Henderson officiating
