Bobby D. Harris, at the age of 53 years, 7 months, and 3 days, passed away in his hometown of Paducah, KY on Sunday, October 5, 2025. He was born on March 2, 1972 in Paducah. Bobby spent his life surrounded by the people and places he loved most.
Bobby attended the Church of the Living God, Paducah Tilghman High School, and was a cook for the seafood restaurant, Broussard’s.
Bobby was known for his vibrant personality and his ability to bring laughter to any room. A true jokester at heart, he had a gift for lifting spirits and making those around him feel welcomed and loved. His sense of humor was matched only by his deep devotion to his family and friends.
He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially cooking and watching football, He was a proud fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Bobby rarely missed a game and could often be found cheering on his team with enthusiasm. His love for cooking brought people together, whether it was a casual meal or a family gathering filled with laughter and good food.
Bobby’s legacy lives on through his loving family, he is remembered by; His Mother, Carolyn Harris, Two Sons, Desmond Orr and G’vonte Orr, Bonus Son, Quinterous Orr, One Brother, Keenan Martin, One Nephew, Kannon Martin, Lifelong Partner In love and Friendship, Delana Orr, all of Paducah, KY, , Five Grandchildren, La’Moni Orr, Kharii Orr, Ke’Oni Hayes, Gvarrius Orr and Zalen Orr; Two Aunts, Susan Jones and Sharon Bell, Patty Faulkner, Brenda Wright (Billy) Uncles, Donald Lee Harris, Ernest Harris (Gladys); Cousins, Latasha Clay (Reginald) , Johnny Anthony Jones, Chris Jones, Joe Joe Smith (and wife) Stacey Faulkner, Tiffany Scott, Brandon Harris, Jontasia Jones, Brandon Stapleton, Stacey Faulkner, Bryant Wright, Brandon Wright, Herbert Wright and Jonathan Wright and a host of other beloved family members.
Bobby was preceded in death by his grandmother, Jean Harris, his son, Keyshaun “Bam” Orr, aunt, Joann Smith, uncle, ray “Bubba” Wilburn. The thought that he is now reunited with Keyshaun and Granny brings comfort to those mourning his loss.
Though Bobby’s presence can never be replaced, the memories he created will continue to bring warmth to those who knew him. His laughter echoes in our hearts and the love he shared remains ever present. May he rest peacefully in heaven.
A Memorial will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the Irvin Cobb Apartments 600 Broadway Street. It will be held in the downstairs basement/community room.
