Brian Keith Copeland went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at 12:46 p.m. at Mercy Health Lourdes Hospital in Paducah. At the time of his passing, Brian had made his trip around the sun for 35 years, 6 months and 18 days. 

Brian was born in Paducah, Kentucky on February 2, 1989, the son of the late Edward G. Robinson and Karen L. Copeland. He attended Ninth Street Tabernacle Ministries in Paducah and was employed as a welder at James Marine, Inc.

Brian, known among family as “Dr. Phil”, was the glue that held both sides of the family together. He was an amazing dad who dearly loved his family and possessed a spirit that made you smile and feel good. His favorite foods included ox tails and lamb chops, and in his spare time he enjoyed playing “Call of Duty”.

Leaving behind to cherish fond memories of him are his Loving Wife, Tagan, to whom he had been married 1 year, 8 months and 20 days; a Daughter, Zaniya Barkley; a Son, Tyigan Williams; his Mother, Karen Copeland, all of Paducah; Two Sisters, Kaylen Robinson of Murray, KY and Lakin Copeland, of Paducah; Four Brothers, Trevonte Robinson of Lexington, KY, Darius Robinson, Devontae Morris and Ronnie Copeland, all of Paducah; his Maternal Grandmother, Alma Nance of Paducah; Six Uncles, Bill Robinson and Randy Robinson, both of  Paducah, Keith Woods of Dallas, TX, Keith Robinson and Joseph Robinson, both of Tacoma, WA, and Dwight Robinson of Mayfield, KY; Four Aunts, Carol Quisenberry of Cadiz, KY, Candy Robinson and Sheila Robinson, both of Clinton, KY, and Patricia Wilson of Paducah; Nieces, Aubree Morris, Charisma Smith, Ava Copeland and Kinslee Morris; Nephews, Retavion Copeland, Ty’Shaun Copeland, Ty’Marion Copeland and Devontae Morris, Jr.; and a Host of Cousins and Friends.

Brian was preceded in death by his father, his paternal grandmother, Elnora Robinson, and maternal grandfather, Larry Nance.

Brian will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services have been scheduled for Saturday, August 31, 2024, 11:00 a.m., at the Ninth Street Tabernacle Ministries with Reverend Dr. Thaddyeus W. Thompson Sr. and Elder Milo Patterson officiating.

Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
