Carrie A. Johnson, a resident of Paducah, KY, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 24, 2025, at her residence. She was born on May 13, 1964, in Charleston, MO, to the late W.C. and Iola Davis Johnson. Carrie lived to the age of 61 years, 5 months, and 11 days.
Carrie demonstrated her faith through her interaction with people. Her devoted partner and friend for over twenty-seven years, Jerrel Edington, described her as being one of the best people you would ever want to meet and loved her family. She enjoyed watching “Days of Our Lives”, game shows, and doing puzzles. Blue and Black were her two favorite colors.
Preceding her in death were her parents, W.C. and Iola D. Johnson, and five brothers, Danny, Johnson, Jerry Johnson, Willie Johnson, Tracy Johnson, and C.W. Johnson.
Left behind to cherish precious memories of Carrie are her only Daughter, Katina Howland; Two Sisters, Brenda Martin and Helen Simpson; Four Nieces, Coretha Martin, Lakeshia Martin, Jariea Martin, all of Paducah, KY and Felicia (Darin) Roseberry of Metropolis, IL; Three Nephews, Samuel Johnson, Leon Martin, and Steven Johnson, all of Paducah, KY; and her Partner and Special Friend, Jerrel Edington, of Paducah, KY and other relatives.
Carrie will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.
