Danterrius Jerrel Fitzgerald entered eternal rest on Monday, August 5, 2024, at approximately 10:31 a.m. At the time of his passing, he had reached the age of 29 years, 2 months and 5 days. Known lovingly to many as “Jerrel”, he was born to Antonio Whiteside and LaSharma Hill Love on May 30, 1995, in Paducah, KY.
A graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School, he furthered his education at West Kentucky Community and Technical College. He was employed as a forklift driver at JMS Metal Services, and he attended Washington Street Baptist Church.
Jerrel was a “Gentle Giant” who had a big, beautiful smile along with a great sense of humor. He adored his grandmother, whom he called “Momma Lisa”, especially her strawberry cake. His big heart made it almost impossible to argue with his siblings. He had a very close relationship with his special group of friends because he was known to be loyal to a fault. His two children meant the world to him. Jerrel liked to travel, and he enjoyed both playing and watching sports. One undeniable thing about Jerrel is that he loved good food. One of his favorite restaurants was Starnes Bar-B-Que.
Jerrel will be forever in the hearts of His Parents, Antonio (Helen) Whiteside of Jackson, TN and LaSharma Hill Love of Aurora, CO; his Two Sons, Je’Vynn Fitzgerald and Jersee Fitzgerald, both of Paducah, KY; his Siblings, Tristen Coleman of Paducah, KY, Da’Brien Fitzgerald of Atlanta, GA, Brydney Hill, Sydney Hill and Daniel Fitzgerald, all of Paducah, KY; Jacob Fitzgerald of Aurora, CO, and Kamiya Whiteside of Jackson, TN; his Maternal Grandparents, Sharon (Dan) Overstreet; an Aunt, Emma Whiteside, all of Paducah, KY; and a Host of Nieces, Nephews and Cousins, along with Several Aunts, Uncles, and Friends.
