Mary Catherine Lincoln-Mackey, born on January 2, 1968, in Earle, Arkansas. She left an unforgettable mark on the hearts of all who knew her when she passed away on May 14, 2026, at Mercy Health Lourdes Hospital of Paducah. Her journey through life was characterized by deep love, unwavering faith, spirited humor, and an unrelenting devotion to family and community.

Her early years in Earle were just the beginning of a lifetime filled with rich experiences. Obtaining an associate degree was evidence of her commitment to education and self-development. She was formerly employed with the Paducah Independent School System.

Mary was a special woman in many ways. She was a phenomenal cook, and was known to be able to “throw down” in the kitchen. She loved to dress and among her many gifts was the ability to sing. She loved to sing, especially gospel music. She dearly loved her children, grandchildren, siblings and everybody with whom she came in contact. She was a jokester, who loved taking pictures and debating with her children. In her leisure time she enjoyed watching Korean dramas.

Mary was licensed in the ministry by her former pastor ,the late Reverend Dr. Wardell G. Harvey in August of 2012 in his last official act as pastor and was elevated as an Elder in March 2026 by Bishop LaRita Horton Addison. She was a true prayer warrior devoted to both God and family.

Mary’s heart was profoundly centered on her family. She was, above all, a loving mother, grandmother, and wife. Her husband, Charles Mackey, Jr., who fell in love with her the very first time he saw her, stood beside her as a devoted partner through the rhythms of life. Together they nurtured a family that includes their children—Roddrick Lincoln of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Roy Lincoln and Chelsey (Keenan) Perez, Charles Lincoln, all of Paducah, Kentucky, and Yalandis (Ludlow) Powell of Calcium, New York; 14 grandchildren; her step-daughter, Shammara Wall of Paducah, and step-son, Jarel Mackey of the United States Air Force.

Her roots stretched across a broad family tree with three brothers, Jerry (Sheryl) Lincoln of Orlando, Florida; William (Leather) Lincoln of Tallahassee, Florida; and Charles Lincoln of Earle, Arkansas; and three sisters, Joyce Brown of Columbia, Tennessee; Charlene (Earnest) Smith and Michelle Lincoln, both of Jonesboro, Arkansas; her best friend, Bernice (Jackie) Page of Elgin, Illinois, and a treasured network of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Charlie Lincoln and Catherine Brown Lincoln, two sisters, Jewell Lincoln and Doris Brown, and a step-son, Anthony (Tony) Mackey.

Mary Catherine Lincoln-Mackey’s legacy is one of boundless love, joyful spirit, and unwavering faith. She was a beacon of warmth and strength, a woman whose presence sparked laughter and comfort, whose hands created delight through food and fashion, and whose heart fostered an unbreakable bond among family and friends. Her story is etched forever in the lives she touched, a testament to a life beautifully and fully lived.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, May 23, 2026, 12 noon at New Greater Love Church with Bishop Larita Horton-Addison and Reverend Donna G. Hawkins officiating.

Family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.

Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
