Renee Lindsey, a beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away on January 8, 2026, on her 54th birthday, at Baptist Health Paducah. Born in Cloverport, Kentucky, on January 8, 1972, Renee lived a life filled with warmth, compassion, and an unwavering dedication to those she loved.
Renee spent many cherished years as a Certified Nurse Assistant at a Nursing Home Facility, where she touched countless lives with her sincere care and empathy. Her nurturing spirit was not only evident in her professional life but also in her personal relationships. A proud member of the Catholic Faith, Renee's kindness and faith guided her interactions with her family and friends.
Family was the cornerstone of Renee's existence. She is survived by Her Beloved Daughter, Samantha (Zachary) Morris of Eddyville, KY; 2 Sons, Glen Hockersmith of New Albany, IN, and Isaiah Lucas of Livermore, KY; and Her Treasured Grandchildren, Serenity Lucas, Zachariah Lucas, Zayden Lucas, Summer Morris, Sarah Morris, and Sophia Morris, all of Eddyville, KY. Her joy knew no bounds when surrounded by her grandchildren, who were the light of her life.
Renee was also a loving sister to Donna Lindsey of Breckinridge Co., KY, and cherished by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.
In her leisure time, Renee found happiness in exploring the great outdoors, preferring the beauty of the countryside to the confines of home. A jovial spirit, she delighted in watching her favorite television shows on LMN and Lifetime, where she could unwind and enjoy the stories that resonated with her heart. Her faithful dog, Lucky, was always by her side, sharing in her love for adventure.
Perhaps the most poignant aspect of Renee's life was her fond recollections of her late husband, George Lindsey. Those cherished memories brought her comfort and joy, reminding her of a deep love that transcended time.
As we remember Renee Lindsey, we celebrate her life—the impact she made, the love she shared, and the joy she brought into the world. Though her presence will be deeply missed, her legacy of kindness will continue to inspire all who knew and loved her.
A Service of Remembrance will be held for both family and friends at a later date.
