Ronnie Tyrone Agnew, Jr. son of the late Ronnie Tyrone Agnew, Sr. and the late Earnestine Coplin Agnew, departed from this life to his eternal home on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at his residence. At the time of his passing, he had acquired 57 years, 10 months, and 21 days of earthly life.

Ronnie lived in Carbondale, Illinois, but he was born in Trenton, Tennessee, on April 30, 1968. His employment as a detailer for Vic Koenig Chevrolet was a dream come true because detailing automobiles was his passion.

Ronnie was tall in stature and his love for family and hobbies filled his physical frame. He did everything with attention to detail, especially ironing clothes, and was very well organized. He loved to cook; chicken and rice was his specialty. He displayed his athletic skills on the baseball field and was an amazing skater. He even tried break dancing in his youth.

Although he never joined with a specific church, he attended both Mt. Zion and Harrison Street in Paducah on various occasions. However, he loved reading and studying the bible in his private time.

Ronnie’s personality was just as tall as his height. He possessed a beautiful smile, and often referred to himself as “Mr. Gorgeous.”

Waiting to welcome him in heaven were his parents, Ronnie Agnew, Sr. and Earnestine Coplin; a brother, Bryant Keith Coplin; his grandparents, Nathan and Laura Bell Coplin, Sr.; two aunts, Margaret Nelson and Francine Bradford; and one uncle, Nathan Coplin, Jr.

Left behind to treasure sweet memories are his Eight Children, Jordan Agnew of Nashville, TN; Sha’Kurr Johnson of Cape Girardeau, MO; Ronnie Tyrone “Ty” (Ashley) Copeland, JaShon Suggs, Jaidyn Sims, Idashia Allen, Ty’Reisha Agnew, and Aryanna White, all of Paducah, KY; Sixteen Grandchildren, Jordan, Xavier, and Gigi, Tymarion, Tyshawn, Ava, LaKalynn, Quincy, Jr., Qu’Marr, Ka’Miyah, Quadarius, Quintell, Ka’ionni, Qumarion, Journee, and Ace; Two Brothers, Robert Earl “Miz” (Teresa) Coplin, and Byrone “B-house” (Shatoya) Burns, both of Paducah, KY; Two Sisters, Darlena Burns (Chaythian) of Paducah, KY and Catina Burns of Clarksville, TN; a Special Cousin, Pansy Coplin Woods; One Aunt, Willette Coplin; and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Friends.

Funeral arrangements have been scheduled for Saturday, April 4, 2026, 3:00 p.m. at Greater Lincoln Heights Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Michael Wade officiating.

Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until the funeral hour.
