Cecil B "Buddy" Farris II

Mr. Cecil B “Buddy” Farris II, age 82, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away, Monday, August 5, 2024.
 
          Buddy was born on November 1, 1941, in Murray, Kentucky to the late Cecil B Farris and Bettie Lou (Jennings) Farris. Before his retirement he was the owner and operator of Farris Grain Company in Murray, Kentucky and was a United States Army Veteran.
 
          Survivors include his wife, Mary Jo (Lamb) Farris of Murray, Kentucky; five daughters, Lisa Lynn Farris and husband Chris Klesch of Austin, Texas, Laura Leigh Clague and husband Rob of Grapevine, Texas, Shelley Nicole McKeel and husband Jeremy of Murray, Kentucky, Alexandria Farris and partner Connor Smith of Miami Beach, Florida, and Chloe Cecille Farris of Murray, Kentucky; as well as three grandchildren, Keeli McKeel of Murray, Kentucky, Madeline Clague of Grapevine, Texas, and Kyler McKeel of Murray, Kentucky.
 
          A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 9, 2024, at the Murray City Cemetery with Bro. Gary Vacca and John Dale officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Thursday, August 8, 2024, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
