Dr. John R. Quertermous

Dr. John R. Quertermous, age 74, died on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at his home in Cottage Grove, Tennessee.
          He was born on February 10, 1951, in Owensboro, Kentucky to the late Dr. John C. and Ella Mae Quertermous.
          John was a graduate of Murray High School, Murray State University, and the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He practiced medicine in Murray for thirty years.
          In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by Terry Shuler Quertermous.
          Dr. Quertermous is survived by his wife, Ann Kelly Quertermous; children, Sarah Payne (Sean) of Columbus, Ohio, Dr. James Quertermous (Ara) of Libertyville, Illinois, John Shuler Quertermous (Tommy Murphy) of Los Angles, California, Allyson Bolin (Ryan Lehning) Annandale, Virginia, Clay Bolin (Carrie) Henderson, Kentucky; one sister, Ellen Quertermous (Don Greer) of Nashville, Tennessee; and three grandchildren, Ella Quertermous of Libertyville, Illinois, Hyden Kelly Payne of Columbus, Ohio, and Logan Bolin of Henderson, Kentucky.
          In accordance with Dr. Quertermous wishes, there will be no services.
