Eva Lorene Farris

Mrs. Eva Lorene Farris, age 78, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, August 10, 2024, at the Spring Creek Healthcare in Murray, Kentucky.
 
          Mrs. Farris was born in Tennessee Ridge, Tennessee on July 20, 1946, to the late Ivie Monroe Manners and Pauline (Adams) Manners. She retired as a greeter from Wal-Mart in Murray, Kentucky and was a member of the Baptist Faith.
 
          In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Glenn Farris; one sister, Dorothy Blair; as well as four brothers, Wilton Manners, Wayne Manners, Maynard Manners, and Emmanuel Manners.
 
          Survivors include one son, Scott DeShields and wife Sheri of Murray, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Scotty DeShields, Chelsea Deshields, Ally DeShields, and Bobby DeShields; as well as two great grandchildren, Jax DeShields and Lilly DeShields.
 
          A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at the Coles Campground Cemetery with Bro. Jordan Roach officiating. There will be no public visitation held prior to the graveside service.
