Michael David Lyons

Mr. Michael David Lyons, age 73, of Murray, Kentucky died, Tuesday, November 15, 2022, in Mayfield, Kentucky.
 
           He was a Delivery Driver for Perkins Motor-Plex; he was a member of the Murray First United Methodist Church; he was a member of the Murray Lions Club, former president of the Murray State University Amateur Radio Club and was a Land Between the Lakes Trustee.
 
          Michael was born July 20, 1949, in Murray, Kentucky to the late William David Lyons and Dortha Nell Watkins Lyons.
 
          In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son-in-law, Chris Gallimore.
 
          He is survived by his wife of 36 years Marie Lyons of Murray, Kentucky; one daughter, Angela Dawn Lyons Gallimore; one son, Denver Cameron Eldridge of Broward County, Florida; two grandchildren, America Hermosa Eldridge and Declan Hawk Eldridge.
 
          Memorial services will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. in the Hale Chapel of the Murray First United Methodist Church in Murray, Kentucky.  Rev. Jim Stahler will officiate with the members of the Murray State University Amateur Radio Club serving as Honorary Pallbearers.  Visitation will be held prior to the memorial service on Saturday, November 19, 2022, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in the Hale Chapel.
