Mr. J.B. Starks

Mr. J.B. Starks, age 96, of Kirksey, Kentucky, passed away, Monday, May 27, 2024, at his home.
 
            Mr. Starks was born on April 08, 1928, in Calloway County, Kentucky to the late Howell Starks and Mary (Darnall) Starks. He retired from Tappan Stove Plant and later worked for Starks Brothers Mobile Homes.
 
            In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Louise (Bennett) Starks; three sisters; as well as two brothers.
 
            Survivors include one daughter, Beverly Turner of Murray, Kentucky; one son, Phil Starks and wife Rita of Murray, Kentucky; one sister, Glenda Brooks Murphy of Murray, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Ashlee Turner Estes, Austin Turner, and Misty Starks Darnell; as well as three great grandchildren, Layne Bullock, Brynlee Bullock, and Maylen Darnell.
 
            A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 31, 2024, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Rev. Tim Palmer officiating. Burial will follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 31, 2024, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
