Mrs. Carolyn Stom

Carolyn Stom, 81, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away on April 9, 2024 at Passion and Purpose HomeCare Assisted Living of Almo, KY. She was born on December 17, 1942.
 
 
Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Sandra Stone and husband Kerry of Murray, grandson, Clint Stone and wife Tori of Murray, granddaughter Kailey Starks and husband Kyle of Almo, as well as six great-grandchildren, Briley, Bailee, Brystol Stone and Sutton, Arthur, and Annie Starks.  She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Mitchell Stom, her parents Tilghman and Lula Beatrice Hicks Buchanan, three sisters, Irene, Hazel, and Ruth, as well as one brother, Lloyd, and several nieces and nephews.
 
 
Carolyn was a nurse at the Murray Women’s Clinic for 18 years. She was of the Baptist faith.
 
 
Per her request, a private service will be held at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville, KY.
 
 
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Soup for the Soul of Murray, KY, 411 Maple Street, Murray, Kentucky 42071.
