Mrs. Charlene Holsapple Rivera, age 87, of Almo, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at the Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House in Murray, Kentucky.
Mrs. Rivera was born on March 10, 1939, in Hazel, Kentucky to the late Charles Boyd Wilson and Rachel (Hutson) Wilson. She retired from Walmart and was a member of the Hazel Baptist Church and the Eastwood Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Burlon Wayne Holsapple; as well as one great-grandchild, Chance Cook.
Survivors include her husband, Pablo Rivera of Almo, Kentucky; two daughters, Cheryl Milner Farmer and husband Jesse of Hazel, Kentucky and Lisa Whitlow and husband Tim of Almo, Kentucky; two sons, Charles Wayne Holsapple and wife Terri of Lancaster, Kentucky and David Timothy Holsapple of Hazel, Kentucky; three step children, Carolina, Ismael, and Phillipe Rivera all of Tuxpan, Mexico; two brothers, Jimmy Boyd Wilson and wife Leslie of Cody, Wyoming and Larry Dan Wilson and wife Joyce of Jackson, Tennessee; as well as 11 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 4, 2026, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services with Bro. Andy Harrell officiating. Burial will follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m., Sunday, May 3, 2026, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
