Mrs. Donna K. (Lassiter) Jackson

 
   Mrs. Donna K. (Lassiter) Jackson, age 76, of Murray, Kentucky, died on Sunday, August 27, 2023, in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
 
            Mrs. Jackson was born on August 31, 1946, in Murray, Kentucky to the late Marvin Lassiter and Linda Sue (Jetton) Lassiter. She was a homemaker, gardener, and was the 6^th generation co-owner of Lassiter Farms. She was a member of the South Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church and a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy, J.N. Williams 805 Chapter.
 
            In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by one sister-in-law, Geneva Cooper.
 
            Survivors include her husband, Ronnie Jackson; they married on June 6, 1965, at the South Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church in Murray, Kentucky; one son, Mitch Jackson and wife Roshella of Murray, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Ashley Tynes and husband Cody of Murray, Kentucky and Sabrina Jackson and fiancé Logan Gordon of Murray, Kentucky; as well as seven great-grandchildren, Dallas, Dalton, Duncan, and Dutton Tynes, Esmae Barnhill, and Hadlee and Aspen Elderkin.
 
            A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 4, 2023, at the South Pleasant Grove Methodist Church with Rev. David Allbritten officiating. Burial will follow in the South Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Sunday, September 3, 2023, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services. An additional visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 4, 2023, at the South Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church.
