Mrs. Norma Jean Wilson

Mrs. Norma Jean Wilson, age 83, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away Monday, May 26, 2025, at the Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, Kentucky.
            Mrs. Wilson was born on October 19,1941, in Murray, Kentucky, to the late Brooks Doores and Sylvia Lorraine Miller Doores. Norma was a homemaker and a member of the University Church of Christ.
            In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James M. Wilson; sister, Barbara Jo Haley; son in law, Marty Canter.
            Survivors include three daughters, Cheryl Kendall and husband Charlie of Mayfield, Kentucky, Cathy Canter of Mayfield, Kentucky and Carol Darnell and husband Andrew of Mayfield, Kentucky; six grandchildren, Trent Kendall of Mayfield, Kentucky, Crystal McTimmonds and husband Bill of Alabama, Shawn Darnell of Mayfield, Kentucky, Ashley Darnell of Murray, Kentucky Jacob Canter of Mayfield, Kentucky and Nash Canter and wife Mykenzie of Mayfield, Kentucky; also six great grandchildren survive.
            A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 31, 2025, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services. Bro. Richard Youngblood will officiate, and burial will follow in the Murray Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. till 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 31, 2025, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
