Mrs. Sherrie Bright

Ms. Sherrie Kay Bright, age 69, of Murray, Kentucky, formerly of East Prairie, Missouri, passed away, Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at Spring Creek Healthcare in Murray, Kentucky.
            She was born on September 19, 1955, in  Anna, Illinois to the late Robert Minor and Margret (Shelton) Minor. She was the former owner and operator of Sherrie’s Beauty Shop in East Prairie, Missouri.
            In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, David D. Bright.
            Survivors include two daughters, Chanda Jones and husband Ronnie of Murray, Kentucky and Mandi Stevenson and significant other David Skurat of East Prairie, Missouri; two sisters, Pam Rosson of Charleston, Missouri and Sandy Hill and husband Archie of Kevil, Kentucky; one brother, Gary Whybark and wife Susan of Wickliffe, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Ryan Jones and wife Lindsey, Abby Beane and husband Austin, Zach Stevenson, and Brynlee Stevenson; as well as six great-grandchildren, Willow Jones, Hattie Jones, Everett Jones, Gunner Jones, Henry Elliot, and James Beane.
            There will be no public services or visitation held. A private family graveside will be held in Anniston, Missouri.
