Mrs. Shirley Ann Murray

Mrs. Shirley Ann Murray, age 81, of Murray, Kentucky passed away on Monday, September 14, 2026, at the Murray-Calloway County Hospital in Murray, Kentucky.
            Mrs. Murray was born on September 29, 1944, in Davenport, Iowa to the late Maurice Gross and Mary Solomon Gross. She was a homemaker and previously worked for West Kentucky Allied Services. Mrs. Murray was of the Baptist Faith.
            In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray Murray; one brother, Roger Gross; as well as two sisters, Ramona Asleson and Clara Deklein.
            Survivors include one son, Dr. Billy M. Murray and wife Sherrie of St. Charles, Missouri; one daughter, Maryann Harrison and husband Dennis of Murray, Kentucky; one brother, John Gross and wife Rita of Rock Island, Illinois; as well as one grandchild, Savana Murray of Murray, Kentucky.
            A public graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 19, 2026, at the Murray City Cemetery. Bro. Mike White will officiate. There will be no public visitation held prior to the graveside service.
