Mrs. Shirley Joyce Kelso

Mrs. Shirley Joyce Kelso, age 76, of Calvert City, Kentucky, formerly of Murray, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center at Mercy Health.
          Mrs. Kelso was born on February 27, 1950, in Murray, Kentucky to the late D.D. Parrish and Agnus (Bower) Parrish. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith.
          In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry D. “Peanut” Kelso; as well as one sister, Patsy Davis.
          Survivors include several cousins and many extended family members.
          A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, July 31, 2026, at the Beech Grove Cemetery with Rev. Tim Palmer officiating. There will be no public visitation held prior to the graveside service.
