Steven Michael "Mike" Goad

Mr. Steven Michael “Mike” Goad, age 71, of Murray, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, September 28, 2026, at the Murray-Calloway County Hospital in Murray, Kentucky.
Mr. Goad was born on November 18, 1954, in Pontiac, Michigan to the late Lyod Goad and Dorothy Jean (Brewer) Goad. He retired as general manager for Murray Fabrics after 35 years of service.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Robert “Bob” Goad; as well as one sister, Vickie Goad.
Survivors include two daughters, Kim Rittenhouse and Kelly Reed both of Murray, Kentucky; one son, Chris Goad and wife Kristi of Dexter, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Grace Rittenhouse, Kaydence Swift, Michael Swift, Nicholas Haws, and Brandon Bogard; as well as four great-grandchildren, Parker Swift, Maeve Swift, Atlas Glisson, and Audie Bogard.
A memorial visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Friday, October 2, 2026, at the J.H. Churchill Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
