Betty Jean Lester of Cadiz passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2026 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center.
Born on September 13, 1938 in Cadiz, KY to Waymon Lester P'Pool and Imogene Hite P'Pool, she is survived by her husband, Bob Edward Lester, and her children W.G. (Dana) Lester, Benton, KY;
Kerry (Andrea) Lester, Paducah, KY; Ouida Jean Lester, Gulf Shores, AL; Janice (Larry) Kingsolver, Shelbyville, KY.
Her grandchildren, Eric (Kate) Lester, Nashville, TN; Scott (April) Lester, Hopkinsville, KY; Step Grandson, Jason (Christin) Kingsolver, Hendersonville, TN; Elizabeth (Ryan) Gordon, Ooltewah, TN.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister, Barbara P'Pool and two brothers, Ronald Kelly P'Pool and Donald Lester P'Pool.
Funeral services for will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. at King's Funeral Home with Rev. John Grundy Wyatt officiating. Burial will follow in Robertson Hite Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:30 a.m. -10:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at King's Funeral Home.
