Murray State's 2024 football schedule includes Kentucky, Missouri

Murray State University unveiled its 2024 football schedule, the 100th season of Racer football on Thursday.

In Murray State's first 12-game season since 2019, the Racers play six games and the 52nd season in Roy Stewart Stadium, when they take on Butler on Sept. 7.

The 100th season opener is on the road when the Racers face the University of Missouri on Aug. 31. 

Murray State Family Weekend comes Sept. 14 when MSU hosts Mississippi Valley State. 

Another highlight will be Nov. 16 when the Racers have a late-season game at Kentucky.

The Racers' second season in the Missouri Valley Football Conference begins with a road game Sept. 28 at North Dakota, before coming home Oct. 5 to take on South Dakota. 

After a game at Indiana State Oct. 12, Murray State's homecoming game Oct. 19 is against Illinois State on Oct. 19. 

October ends with MSU hosting North Dakota State Oct. 26, before playing at South Dakota State for the first time Nov. 2. 

MSU wraps up the MVFC season at home Nov. 9 against Missouri State and at Southern Illinois Nov. 23.
