The Murray State Racers gritted out a tough conference road win at Indiana State, 74-72 on Thursday in Terre Haute.

The Racers cruised to a 22-point lead at halftime, but gave it all back to survive and improve their record to 11-5 and second place in the Missouri Valley Conference.

Javon Jackson and Roman Domon paced the Racers with 22 and 20 points, along with 13 from Fredrick King.

Camp Wagner led the Sycamores with 15 points, ahead of four other teammates with 12 apiece.

The Racers (19-8) close out the regular season with four final games, including a visit from league-leading Belmont on Sunday at 5 p.m.
